2005 – No other champion possesses the air of mystery surrounding Joe ‘Mojo Filter’, who triumphed in the only Meat Destroyer he ever bothered to enter. Joe shocked the world with his patience and his capacity to keep eating hamburgers, and said afterwards he didn’t even know there was a contest at first. Rock star that he is, he saw a table of food and kept eating until the scale was pointed out to him and his entrance fee was demanded. He claims he ate nothing but dry toast and applesauce for a full week after his victory.
